Technical device
The Waxburner is a technical device. To maintain correct functioning, simple maintenance work is necessary from time to time. These easy-to-perform actions are described in the enclosed manual.
Wax fuel
The Waxburner may only be operated with wax. Beeswax contains organic components that can interfere with the wax transport and lead to a stronger soot formation. The type, quality and composition of the wax has an influence on the function of the Waxburner and may require more frequent maintenance. You will find information on the different types of wax in our enclosed candle guide.
Useful accessories:
We also supply a lid for the Waxburner to extinguish the flame and to protect against rain and weather. This also prevents the glass fibre wick from drying out.
The hood helps wax to circulate actively during cold weather and also protects against dirt. This means that, during winter, the Waxburner can be used at temperatures of -5° C and below without any problems. With the hood, the melting cycle will still be active down to around minus -20°C. During summer, the hood can be used to protect the wax against dirt and as a visual screen. You can still use the snuffer lid for extinguishing the flame.
The Glass Hood reflects the flame, intensifying the effect of the light for a particularly attractive and safe lighting experience. You can then atmospherically light your garden table or decorate your garden / patio / balcony with the flickering flame. The Glass Hood is made up of three parts: Ring base, Glass Hood and lid for extinguishing.
For more positioning options, we supply a stand to go with the Outdoor Waxburner. It raises the Waxburner off the ground so it can also be used as a romantic garden light, for example. The stand is available in rust-free stainless steel or powder-coated steel.
These wonderfully soft mats are made exclusively for us. They are decorative but also very practical. Scratching is prevented on sensitive stands, and at the same time the wool mat shields heat. We offer the mats in three different colours.
Anti-insect oil & pure essential oils
Drop pure essential oils into the liquid wax to transform the Waxburner into a fragrance diffuser. The essential oil evaporates very gently in the hot wax so it creates a long-lasting aroma. We offer pure essential oils that are specially intended for use in the Waxburner. Our anti-insect oil is especially beneficial for use outdoors. The pleasant, summery blend reliably keeps away annoying insects.
We supply pure, high-quality candlewax pastilles for use as a refill if you have run out of leftover candles or to add for a clean burn. This will help your Waxburner to always burn cleanly and reliably. 2 kg and 4 kg bags of wax are available for respectively around 72 hours and around 150 hours of burning in the Outdoor Waxburner. Each bag contains a practical measuring scoop.
Information about using beeswax
Beeswax often contains foreign bodies and honeycomb remnants. They can cause the wick to become stuck together and also result in poor burning with increased soot. We advise against using beeswax as a fuel.
