Water for birds – even in frosty weather
A reliable water source is particularly important for wild birds, especially in winter. However, as soon as temperatures drop below freezing, bird baths quickly freeze over.
The CeraNatur® bird bath heater provides a solution: it keeps the water in the bird bath free from ice in frosty conditions and prevents it from freezing down to around -10 °C. This ensures that birds have access to an open water source for drinking and preening even during the cold season.

Whilst natural water sources often freeze over in winter or become contaminated with dirt and salt, birds still need a regular supply of water, not least for preening their plumage. A heated bird bath provides them with a reliable way to drink water, even in frosty conditions.
The heater does not need to be left on continuously:
it only needs to be switched on during the day and when it is freezing. This makes our solution particularly economical and suitable for everyday use.
Economical heating with long-lasting candles
The bird bath heater is powered by cost-effective long-lasting candles. One candle burns for around 55 hours. When used only during the day, the cost is approximately 10 cents per day. This means the bird bath can be kept ice-free even in winter with minimal effort.

The heated bird bath can be used with or without a stand. This means it can be adapted to suit your garden and your preferred location.
