Birds need fresh water even in winter. However, falling temperatures and frost make it difficult to maintain a reliable water supply: bird baths freeze over and are no longer available for the birds to drink from or preen their feathers.
With the bird bath heater, the water remains reliably frost-free even in wintry temperatures. The heater prevents the bird bath from freezing down to around -10°C, ensuring birds have access to a vital source of water even in winter.

An open water source is invaluable to many wild birds all year round. In winter, however, there are particularly few natural water sources that are not frozen over or contaminated with dirt or salt. A heated bird bath provides a reliable alternative here. The bird bath heater is only required in frosty conditions and during the day. This allows energy and fuel consumption to be reduced to what is actually necessary.
Operated with low-cost long-burning candles
The bird bath heater is fuelled by low-cost long-burning candles. A long-burning candle has a burn time of around 55 hours. When used during the day, the cost is around 10 cents per day. This makes it particularly easy and cost-effective to maintain a frost-free watering point for birds.
Can be used with or without a stand
The heated bird bath can be used with or without a stand. This allows it to be set up flexibly in the garden, on the patio or at any other suitable location.
