Unlike ordinary ceramics, the unique DENK CeraFlam® ceramic is completely fireproof and can absorb and store approximately 3 times more heat than steel.
The ceramic heat-shielding tiles used on American space shuttles consist of a material composition very similar to that of DENK fire bowls. The formula for this material is kept under wraps as a trade secret and is legally protected as CeraFlam®.
The advantages of all DENK fire bowls: They’re portable, and you can and are allowed to light them anywhere outdoors, in summer and winter alike. You can grill, roast, and bake bread on a stick over them. In an instant, they create a unique atmosphere, a wonderful glow, and a cozy warmth that soothes both body and soul. CeraFlam® retains heat for hours, so that even after the flame has gone out, every cool evening turns into a cozy night.
Any type of wood can be burned in the fire bowl. The ideal firewood should be about 20 cm long and split. To avoid smoke, the firewood should always be thoroughly dry. Charcoal can also be used if needed.
Optional Accessories for the Fire Bowl
The fire bowl comes with three ceramic pan holders. This allows you to use a compatible enameled frying pan on the fire bowl, which we offer upon request. We also offer a stainless steel grill pan with a folding handle upon request.
Stand for the Fire Bowl
We offer a matching stand for the fire bowl. This raises the fire bowl off the ground, making it even better suited for roasting and grilling. The stand is made of stainless steel and has a wide, stable base; the metal has a delicate, transparent appearance.
